UMANT 2010 Nuts & Bolts:Legislative Affairs
The interests of local organizations and municipal governments are affected by legislation which passes (or does not pass) during the legislative session.
This educational forum will address the nuts and bolts of successful involvement in state-level decision-making. It will also address the implications of what non-involvement may do for your city or organization.
The speakers for our first UMANT 2010 event are just outstanding! Former State Representative Fred Hill, reputed local government supporter, will offer an insiders view of the process. Snapper Carr will bring the consulting aspect to the table while TJ Patterson and John Cabrales will speak as local municipal employees in intergovernmental relations.
Please join us for this exciting event as we again approach another legislative session just less than a year away. You are sure to come out better informed of the process and perhaps even a little more interested in legislative matters if you are not already.
