TCMA Annual Conference Scholarship

The Urban Management Assistants of North Texas (UMANT) TCMA Annual Conference Scholarship was created to help local government management professionals and students interested in continuing their professional development attend the Texas City Management Association's (TCMA)  Annual Conference.

The TCMA Annual Conference will be held in Galveston, Texas on June 25, 2010 to June 27, 2010.

Up to four (4) scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee consisting of current UMANT Officers.  The $500 scholarship can be applied to conference registration, travel, and lodging expenses.

Eligibility

• Must be a current UMANT Member
• Student, Associate, or Full membership levels only 
• Must be employed by a local government or related agency or be a student enrolled in a university program specializing in public administration, urban affairs, or a closely related field
• Submit a complete application by May 14, 2010
